Descriptive Note Text

The entrance from Corso Massimo D'Azeglio and Corso Raffaello featured a semi-circular structure that wrapped around Davide Calandra's monument to Prince Amedeo. The Monument was inaugurated in 1902, on the occasion of the First International Exposition of Modern Decorative Art in Turin. The entrance structure was built by Beniamino Quadri and Giovanni Colombo construction company.
