About Turin 1911

The International Exposition of Industry and Labor was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Italian Unification in 1911, in Turin, the first Italian capital city. The 'Fabulous Exposition' consisted of almost 200 built environment objects, the vast majority of which were dismantled at the end of the exposition.

Valentino Park

Situated along the left bank of the River Po, in the heart of Turin, the Parco del Valentino extends between Ponte Umberto I and Ponte Isabella, covering an area of approximately 421,000 square meters. The picturesque place of the Valentino Park has been historically devoted to expositions, becoming a city within a city.
