This black-and-white postcard shows a view of the Villaggio Alpino, with its typical log cabins, the village church, and steep alleys. On the left of the photo, one can see the exterior structure of the fountain in the main village square, around which fairgoers are standing. Whereas the fountain was a faithful reproduction of the fountain in the village of Jouvenceaux (Sauze d'Oulx, Italy), the village as a whole did not replicate a specific alpine village, but rather combined elements from many such villages.
