Descriptive Note Text
This postcard reproduces a color depiction of the Pavilion of England with the Fountain of the Twelve Months, in the foreground. The Pavilion was designed by exposition architects Stefano Molli, Pietro Fenoglio and Giacomo Salvadori di Wiesenhof. The central structure of the Pavilion was framed by two spires, surmounted by the Royal Crown, connected to two porticos supported by double columns. The porticos were covered by balconies extending from the right and left sides of the pavilion's main body and ended with two identical domed structures.
