Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photograph of the Strega liqueur kiosk shows a small, single-story structure crowned with an oval medallion sign reading "STREGA" set into an elaborately scrolled and shell-topped pediment. Below this, the building presents a glazed central entrance with a rounded arched doorway, fitted with glass panes and a curtain visible just inside, and a man in dark clothing stands posed in the open doorway, likely an attendant or vendor associated with the kiosk. The entrance is flanked by paired pilasters and side bays with their own smaller arched window openings. A low platform or step runs along the front of the building, and decorative urn-like finials sit atop the corner piers.
