Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard shows the main entrance to the Pavilion of the City of Turin. Designed by architect Stefano Molli, the pavilion recalled the structure of the Basilica di Superga with a pronao and a great dome 47.5 meters in height. The facade displayed statues attributed to sculptor Giacomo Buzzi-Reschini.
