Descriptive Note
Giuseppe Sobrile studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin under the guidance of Pier Celestino Gilardi and Giacomo Grosso. He is known for the representation of alpine landscapes and rustic views, and the depiction of wildflower compositions.In 1992 his last retrospective was held at the Mole Antonelliana in Turin.
On the occasion of the Turin 1911 Exhibition, he decorated the Pavilion of Festivals and Concerts with Rodolfo Premoli.
