This black-and-white photo postcard shows the imposing river facade of the Pavilion of Russia. In the background, on the right side of the picture, one can see one of the turrets of the Medieval Rocca.
The Pavillion of Russia was designed by Russian architect Vladimir Alekseevič Ščuko in the neoclassical style, thus distancing itself from the neobaroque cipher of the rest of the Exposition.
