The massive pavilion of Latin America was divided into several sections in order to include the exhibitions of the different countries of Latin America. The exhibition of Uruguay occupied the main hall and two large lateral rooms; the remaining space was devoted to the other countries (Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Bolivia and Cuba).

The Pavilion was designed by Orsino Bongi, who also served as a member of the General Committee for the Exposition. it featured a central dome decorated with beautiful oval windows, with a symbolic globe at the top. Just like the other Pavilions on the right bank of the River Po, a plaza decorated wioth flowerbeds led to the Pavilion.

According to the CTI guide, the windows of the central and lateral wings were decorated with friezes, frames, and garlands.
