Descriptive Note

Ernesto Ferrettini was born in Susa (Torino). In 1883 he received a laurea in legge (law degree) from the University of Turin.  He was a composer and prolific music and art critic. He wrote for La gazzetta del popolo, La Stampa, and La gazzetta piemontese and was the chief editor of and writer for L'Esposizione di Torino: Giornale Ufficiale Illustrato dell'Esposizione Internazionale delle industrie e del lavoro 1911.
