Descriptive Note
Gustavo Modiano moved from Florence to Milan towards the end of the Nineteenth century where he founded the printing company G. Modiano & Co. After his death, his son Guido succeeded him at the helm of the company. The building where the company was housed was destroyed during the bombings of August 1943.
Many of the postcards devoted to Turin 1911 were published by Modiano & Co.
