Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard captures a lively view of the Exposition.  Fairgoers and the first automolobiles shared the boulevard in Valentino Park and here we see one of these impressive vehicles, possibly transporting visiting dignitaries to various locations in the Park.  On the right side one can see the Pavilion of Hungary with its distinctive majolica tile decorations. The section closer to the viewer is the agricultural side of the Pavilion, while the other, covered by an impressive dome, was dedicated to industry.  On the far right, one can see the catenary half-dome that covered the main entrance to the Pavilion.
