Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard shows a close view of the Pavilion of Hungary's portal, with the monumental warriors guarding the Pavilion's entrance. One can also see part of the elaborate frieze and bas-reliefs gracing the exterior walls of the Pavilion.  An automobiles is parked in front of the pavilion, underscoring the role of Turin as the home of the Italian automobile industry, and of F.I.A.T.

The postcard was mailed to Rome on September 16, 1911.
