This black-and-white photo postcard shows the entrance to the Pavilion of the Royal Monopolies. The Pavilion was composed of a spacious vestibule designed in a circular layout surmounted by a slender and elegant cupola from which one entered the room dedicated to the "Salt and Quinine Exhibit" on the left side, and the large hall of machines for the manufacture of tobacco on the right side.
