This black-and-white postcard shows the Monumental Bridge with the massive Monumental Fountain, or Waterfall.  In the foreground, one can see a young girl in working clothes, and in the background elegant women with parasols. Among the men, carabinieri in full dress uniforms and the typical tricorn hat called "lucerna" may be waiting for dignitaries to arrive.
