Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard shows a view of the Pavilion of Hungary from the River Po. One can see the Pavilion's three pyramidal domes, which were said to represent the Tatra Mountains of Hungary, and the two towers with the double cross of Saint Stephen, first King of Hungary. The scaffolding on the towers show that the Pavilion was still under construction.
