This photograph, captioned "La Galleria delle Macchine nella Sezione Svizzera" (The Machine Gallery in the Swiss Section), documents the interior of an industrial exhibition hall at the 1911 Turin world's fair.

The space is organized as a long, double-height gallery with a central aisle flanked by two rows of exhibition bays. At ground level, the aisle is lined with machine-tool exhibits, including what appear to be lathes, drill presses, and other industrial equipment mounted on plinths or display stands, each set within its own bay along the gallery. A secondary catwalk structure runs overhead along the center of the hall.
