Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard shows a panorama from the river Po, with the Ristorante Popolare (also called: Grande Ristorante Popolare; Grande Ristorante dell'Alleanza Cooperativa Torinese and Grande Ristorante Cooperativo), and the Opere Pubbliche and Provincia di Torino buildings. This area comprised the Exposition's South-West Complex on the left bank of the river Po. In the background one can see the Temporary Bridge (also called: ponte al Pilonetto).
