Descriptive Note
Oreste Pizio was a painter and miniaturist. Working between Symbolism and Art Nouveau, he debuted at the Mostra d'arti decorative di Torino in 1902, and exhibited at the Circolo degli Artisti and Società promotrice delle Belle Arti in Turin.
On the occasion of the Exposition of Turin 1911, he worked with Giovanni Giani and Giorgio Ceragioli on the dioramas of the Pavilion of Fashion.
