Fratelli Branca is a distillery in Milan, Italy, that was founded in 1845 and is especially famous for its amaro digestif, Fernet-Branca. In 1905 the successful company's trademark was officially registered. It displays an eagle with spread wings that claw a bottle with the world below. It was designed by Leopoldo Metlicovitz, one of the fathers of modern poster design in Italy.
