Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard offers a view of the Pavilion of Serbia. In contrast with the neo-baroque cypher of the rest of the Exposition, the Pavilion of Serbia was built in the Serbian-Byzantine style, and displayed typical elongated arches, and colorful arabesques and friezes. On the left side of the photo, one can see part of the Pavilion of Siam.
