Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white postcard shows an unusual view of the Pavilion of Hungary from the terrace that connected the industrial section with the agricoltural section of the pavilion. The Agricultural Pavilion was a split-level structure, all made of wood, smaller, but similar in design with wooden balconies protruding from the façade and tall gates with national colors opening to the patio (“A Turini Világkiállitás” 254). This view also shows the impressive spires with the two-barred cross of Saint Stephen.
