Descriptive Note Text

This colorized photo postcard displays the likely colors of the Pavilion of Hungary, which contemporary magazines described as featuring red-ochre walls and domes the color of "verde bronzo".  One can also see the ceramic eosin-glazed "warrior gods" guarding the entrance to the Pavilion. These statues were created by renowned sculptor Miklós Ligeti.

The postcard was mailed to Dogliani (Cuneo), with a postage stamp dated October 4, 1911.
