Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard shows a view of the facade of the Pavilion of Hungary from the river Po. One can see the main dome of the Pavilion and the two spires with the double cross of Saint Stephen, the first king of Hungary.  On the opposite side of the river, one can also see one of the docking areas for the vaporetti that ferried visitors from one bank of the river to the other.

The postcard was addressed and mailed to Rio Cuarto, Argentina and dated September 14, 1911.
