Descriptive Note Text

This colorized photo postcard shows the docking area of the ferries that transported fairgoers across the river Po. This boat was named Torino and advertized the famous Talmone chocolatiers of Turin.  In the background one can see Isabella Bridge with the Pavilions of Siam and Serbia on the right side, and the two towers of the Monumental Waterfall on the left.
