Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard shows the docking area of the ferries that transported fairgoers across the river Po. This boat advertized Cantieri Baglietto, Varazze, the Ligurian shipyard where the boat was probably built. In the background one can see Isabella Bridge with the Pavilions of Siam and Serbia on the right side, and the two towers of the Monumental Waterfall on the left.
