Descriptive Note

Alberto Traldi joined the photographic business of Salvagni, V. le Porta Vittoria, Milan, which became Stabilimento Traldi Salvagni e C. at 16 Via Fontana, Milan, around 1902.  

 

The Traldi firm produced views (larger than postcards), postcards, and stereographs. In addition to art cards and view cards of Europe and the Middle East, they produced a series of cards related to early silent film and Italian Opera stars. They also produced a series of postcards devoted to Turin 1911.

 

The firm used different identifiers besides the full name Traldi, such as A.T.M., T.A.M., and A.T.C. A curvy monogram logo was used on views for a time around 1930.
