Descriptive Note

Teobaldo Calissano was an Italian politician and public figure. He served as undersecretary for the Ministry of Post and Telegraph from July to December 1909, undersecretary for the Ministry of the Interior from March 1910 to March 1911, and Minister of Post and Telegraph during the fourth givernment of Giovanni Giolitti. He was appointed Senator of the Kingdom of Italy.

In his official capacity, he participated in several events at the Exposition of Turin 1911, such as the official opening celebrations, and the Inauguration ceremony for the Padiglione del Giornale (Newspaper Pavilion).
