Descriptive Note
Denis Marius Toudoire was a French architect He attended the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, graduating in 1879.
He built the stations for the Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée (PLM). He also realized the Grande Poste d'Alger. Between 1895 and 1902 he completed the Gare de Lyon in Paris (including the restaurant Le Train bleu.
On August 14, 1900, he was named Knight of the Legion of Honor for his participation in the 1900 World's Fair in Paris as architect of the Palace of the National Manufactures
For the 1911 Exposition in Turin he build the Pavilion of Algeria and Tunisia.
