The Pavillion des Humoristes Français was a picturesque kiosk with an external staircase providing separate entrance and exit venues to the small interiors. The kiosk had medallion shaped extrerior decorations gracing its walls. It in unclear where the kiosk was located as it is not mentioned in the Plan Officiel de la Section Française. However a photo of the kiosk was published in Rapport Général de la Section Française by Émile Berr and G. Roger Sandoz (1911: Paris: Comité Français des Expositions, page 225). The Rapport described the kiosk thus:
(Two small exterior staircases, placed there as if at the front of a fairground booth, served as entrance and exit; on the white walls, fanciful decorations, panels by Carlègle, friezes by Métivet—which already made the crowd stop and laugh. Utile dulci! and people were having fun on one side of the building, almost as much as they were working on the other).
