This souvenir coffee cup was made by Italian luxury porcelain company Richard Ginori. Founded in 1735 by Carlo Ginori in Sesto Fiorentinto outside Florence, Richard Ginori became the most distinguished porcelain manufacturer in Italy and remained family owned until 1896 when it merged with the Società Ceramica Richard of Milan, becoming Richard Ginori.
The cug belongs to the "Gazzetta" service produced on the occasion of the 1911 International Exposition. The decorations of each piece of the service depicted a significant place in the city of Turin. This cup features a view of the Medieval Castle in Valentino Park.
