Definition:
The concept of a purely physical position in the universe which is precisely definable in terms of geographic or astronomic measurement, or situation relative to geographic or astronomic features or to elements of the built environment. For the concept of a space or area within the lived world of daily experience which possesses emotional, purposive, and social connotations along with physical features and characteristics, use "place."
