This black-and-white photo postcard shows the imposing stairway leading to the Monumental Bridge from the Pavilion of Festivals and Concerts. This photo offers a rare glimpse of the sculptures at the base of the tall pillars that graced the complex of the Monumental Bridge.  At the top of the Pavilion of Festivals and Concerts one can see an impressive statue of a chariot led by galloping horses.
