This black-and-white photo postcard shows the Pavilion of Latin America (which included Uruguay) as seen from the left side of the river Po. The exhibition of Uruguay occupied the main hall and two large lateral rooms; the remaining space was devoted to the other countries (Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Bolivia and Cuba).

The photo shows one of the boats that carried fairgoers across the river.
