This black-and-white photo postcard shows a view of the Villaggio Alpino, with its typical log cabins, and roughly paved alleyway leading to the village church. The village as a whole did not replicate a specific alpine village, but rather combined elements from many such villages. The only faithfully reproduced structure was the fountain in the main village square, which duplicate the fountain in the village of Jouvenceaux (Sauze d'Oulx, Italy),
