Descriptive Note Text

This colorized photo postcard capture the moment in which a crowd of fairgoers exits the Salone dei Concerti, likely after a Sunday musical performance as noted in the handwritten message in the back of the postcard.  White and gold are the predominant colors of the neo-baroque buildings. Two winged Victories stand atop the tall columns that lead to the Ponte Monumentale and Castello delle Acque, towards which the crowd is going.
