This postcard reproduces an illustration by [name]. The advertisment for the Münchener Bürgerbräu Restaurant is visible on the embankment.  Münchener Bürgerbräu was a large Munich brewery which also had numerous beer halls, including the Bürgerbräukeller, where the 1923 attempted Hitler coup would start on Nov. 9, 1923. 

The postcard was sent to Buzzoletto (Mantua, Italy) and likely dated December 1911 as it expresses wishes for the holiday season and the new year.
