Descriptive Note Text

This black-and-white photo postcard offers a view of the Pavilion of Serbia. In contrast with the neo-baroque cypher of the rest of the Exposition, the Pavilion of Serbia was built in the Serbian-Byzantine style, and displayed typical elongated arches, and colorful arabesques and friezes. On the left side of the photo, one can see part of the Pavilion of Siam and on the right a small section of the Isabella Bridge.
