This black-and-white postcard shows the "vaporino Torino" moored at one of its stops, near Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. These small steamboats (also known as "tramvai natanti") sailed on the Po River, offering scenic trips, connecting banks and pavilions, and providing elegant views of the river.

Stamped 29 September, 1911, this postcard was mailed to Paris, France.
