This black-and-white photo postcard provides a view of the Kermesse Orientale, or Oriental Village, which was described in contemporary guidebooks as including: 1) Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Turkey; 2) Madagascar, Senegal, and Congo; 3) Japan and India; 4) China and Indochina, as well as a "display" of Native American tribes.
