 Cauvin, AlbertoFluent in several languages (including French, English and Dutch), Alberto Cauvin travelled extensively throughout Europe in order to gain experience and professional knowledge before taking the helm of the family business, Cauvin Industrie, which his father had founded. In 1906, as exponent of the Liberal Monarchic Union Umberto I, he was elected town councilor of Turin; later, he assumed various important roles in the city's administration and, in 1919, served as "Assessore" of the "Divisione Economato." |
